Being an ob/gyn is a privilege and an honor. This profession can be quite intense emotionally. I am proud to be able to participate in the miracle of birth and to share with my patients their moments of joy and happiness. However, I am equally proud to be there helping people through their moments of sorrow as well. |

Providing Womens Healthcare
and more
When I moved into my current solo practice, I had many goals. One was to get out of HMO medicine, which I have done. Another was to create a different style of practice, providing comprehensive traditional womens healthcare in a comfortable and personal environment, while offering additional medical services for women not typically found in an ob/gyn office. Along those lines, we are proud to offer the services of a licensed skin care specialist (who happens to be my wife, Marina Jick!). Call our skin care hotline at 1-888-66-FLASH.
Skin
Care Services: EpiLightTM hair removal (FDA
approved for permanent hair reduction using intense pulsed light technology), European
facials, facial peels (microdermabrasion, enzymatic, glycolic), body wraps, aromatherapy,
lymphatic drainage, post-op laser resurfacing care and more.
Balancing the Art and Science of Medicine
Keeping up with the science of medicine, particularly womens health, requires constant effort. I have taken hundreds of hours of continuing medical education, and have been recognized for this by both the AMA and ACOG. The art of medicine is caring for patients, communicating with them, informing them of their options so as to offer the best of medical science without overwhelming them. This is the true challenge of my profession. To balance both the art and the science of medicine is what it means to me to be a good doctor.
